Kathy grew up in Iowa and moved west to attend San Diego State University. She put herself through school, and while working at a local hospital in her senior year, she met Jerry, who had also moved from the mid-west after graduation from Ohio State University. They've lived in San Diego County since 1978, but have retained a certain mid-west charm to complement a refreshing spirit for life.
